Sauvage Wine Bar and Shop starts with the owner. Our founder is a veteran of the food, wine, and hospitality industry. His career spans over 15 years and has crossed over into many disciplines.


For our owner, it started as a passion for the culinary industry. However, over time, he developed a deep love of crafting cocktails before he went on a deep dive into the wine world. After several years working in the wine industry, he shifted to distribution. He had a job at one of the largest distributors of wine and craft spirits in the United States. He helped country clubs, resorts, and independent restaurants in Arizona with their drink menus.


From this passion and experience, Sauvage Wine Bar and Shop was born.

The Idea of Sauvage

It was 2017 when our founder went to France. During this trip, he was inspired to leave behind the corporate world and start his own wine and spirits shop.


"Sauvage" means wild or natural in French, and that is still the essence of what Sauvage Wine Bar and Shop is all about. Our owner sources the most natural wine options available with over 200 rotating wine selections available in the shop and online for customers like you.


Most of the selections range from $20 to $60 for natural, biodynamic offerings. These wines are often produced on a small scale and are not mass-produced. He also sources a curated selection of Mezcals, Amari, organic Port, and digestifs at Sauvage Wine Bar and Shop.


For our owner and everyone at Sauvage Wine Bar and Shop, we believe that great wines transport you to where they come from. You don't have to be a wine expert to appreciate the nuance. When you visit us, we'll make sure you get an elevated, exceptional experience every time.
